This scandal seems a bit different than previous scandals in that Citigroup seems to be convinced that its employees have done nothing wrong. You really didn't get that feeling in other cases. This time, Citigroup not only denies any insider trading but also is recoiling at the prescribed sanction, that it stop trading in stocks in which it linked via its banking team. That would surely prove to be disastrous for the trading operations. Should a firewall be sufficient in this case?
