Wall Street sheriff taken down

They called him the Sheriff of Wall Street, the modern incarnation of Eliot Ness--and a whole lot worse--behind closed doors. Now that Eliot Spitzer has disgraced himself, there's a fair amount of glee spilling out into public. But despite his personal shortcomings, he made a difference and really goosed the law enforcement community, especially at the federal level, to get tougher on Wall Street. No matter how you spin this, it's stunning. Simply stunning.
