Wall Street a more level playing field for women?
Has Wall Street changed that much for women? You could argue many ways. It is a more hospitable place (which may not be saying much) -- or at least, is no longer is outright hostile. But if Wall Street's elite banks really want to retain and recruit more women, they are up against a host other forces. Women who want it all these days face new challenges that make Wall Street perhaps a less likely destination. This is a crucial issue, as success with clients increasingly requires a diverse set of top employees.
