Vanguard eyes new market: advisors

We all associate Vanguard with the direct-to-consumer channel. But if the fund giant has its way, that may change just a bit. There's likely a sizable chunk of broker-advised customers out there who wouldn't mind at all owning some Vanguard product. The company is wisely developing a product line for advisors and brokers. The products seem to be more class-tailored ETFs that advisors can use to deliver more efficiently or round out portfolios. ETFs have certainly captured the advisor market's imagination, and we'll likely see more of them aimed at intermediaries.
