Seven more banks shut
The carnage mounts. Regulators shuttered seven more banks, bringing the total in the U.S. to 37 for 2010, according to media reports. Last year, more than 140 were shut down. Some think as many as 300 will eventually be shut this year. Does that estimate seem a bit high? Article
