Senator's advice for Goldman Sachs
Sen. Mark Warner has some advice for Goldman Sachs (GS): Be sensitive to the "optics" when it comes to handing out record bonuses. This is good advice. No one is saying not to reward emnployees, but you've just got to be sensitive to the message and the media when the time comes. It would be wise to emphasize the goals and structure of the pay, noting clawback provisions and long-term time horizons and the like. Watching this video again (hilarious) may actually be wise.
