This is starting to sound like a movie. A convicted hedge funds fraudster did not commit suicide, even though his SUV was found on a bridge with "suicide is painless" scribbled in the dust. An arrest warrant has been issued. Domestic law enforcement officials have appealed to Interpol for help tracking down a man that federal marshals consider armed and dangerous. There is tantalizing video evidence that another vehicle pulled up next to Israel's SUV, with footage of a man getting in. Recall that Israel, the mastermind of the Bayou Group fraud, was set to report to a prison Monday in Massachusetts to begin a 20-year sentence for defrauding investors of $450 million.
