Ruth Madoff to escape charges?
Many have wondered whether Ruth Madoff was in line to be charged by prosecutors for her role in her husband's massive scam. As of now, it seems that there's not enough evidence to support an indictment. She has suffered already; she was stripped of everything but $2.5 million in cash in a deal struck by federal authorities. She's a pariah in some circles obviously.
