Prosecutors' compliance lapse
Prosecutors in the Galleon hedge fund insider trading case mistakenly sent wiretap records to officials at the SEC. The recordings were returned, but the issue has blown up. It's doubtful that the evidence will end up suppressed. But it makes the prosecution look disorganized and haphazard. Where there's smoke there's fire, as they say. Hopefully, this isn't pointing to major problems on the prosecution side. Article
