Fortune scored an interview with Prince Alwaleed about Charles Prince, the former head of Citigroup. The prince owns 3.6 perent of the bank and had the ear of not only CEO Prince but also Sandy Weill, the still influential former CEO. Contrary to recent reports, Weill did inform the prince that CEO Prince had to go. Later, after Citigroup's second, larger writedown, the prince told CEO Prince that he could no longer support him as CEO. He still believes in the bank for that matter and thinks the stock is undervalued. He reminds the editors that he bought his shares at an average price of $2.75. So he's still up.
