Options dark pool trading on the way

Over the years, there has been a lot of "best trade" innovations that have been good for investors but not so great for traders. Decimalization. New order handling rules. Of course more dark pools. The options market has lagged behind these market innovations until recently. Options now can be quoted in pennies, spreads are down, and dark pools are coming soon. According to Financial News Online, 3D Markets, founded by a former Piper Jaffray trader, will soon launch the Archangel platform. It will be operative in beta later this month once the firm completes a round of financing.
