NYSE Euronext posts a loss
NYSE Euronext's big quarterly loss was accounted for mainly by a $355 million payment to LCH.Clearnet for breaking a contract. The exchange has set up its own London-based clearing operation, which is now live. It expects the operation to eventually generate $100 million annually. Article
