Morgan Stanley exec's son missing
The son of Jeff Hollahan, a vice president with Morgan Stanley (MS) in Scottsdale, Ariz., has gone missing in Frankfurt. Devon Hollohan, 22 years old, has not been seen since Nov. 21, when he and a friend traveled from Prague, where they lived, to Frankfurt for a concert and a few days of vacation. They somehow separated and Devon was not seen again by his friend, who tried texting him several times before giving up and going back to their hostel.
The FBI is apparently involved in the disappearance. Bloomberg reports that Frankfurt has been the site of several kidnappings of family members of prominent businessmen. But very little is known about what has transpired between Nov. 21 and now. The press in Germany has interviewed the elder Hollahan, who says there have been few clues. "He's literally just dropped off the face of the earth," he was quoted. So far there is no indication of ransom notes or anything along those lines.
