More on hedge fund manager and Russia
We noted yesterday that William Browder, CEO of the Hermitage Capital Management fund, has been kept out of Russia for four months. That's significant because he runs a fund that is among the largest investors in Russia. More info is coming to light. While Browder has been a big supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, he "may have ruffled feathers in one of his many high-profile campaigns for greater transparency and efficiency at some of Russia's biggest conglomerates." That's can be a dangerous spot. This could get interesting.
