More bankers driven to drink
Alcohol and depression fit hand-in-glove with financial crises unfortunately. Reuters reports that in the pricier neighborhoods of Conn., more bankers are seeking treatment for "addiction or depression or both." At times like this, companies tend to treat people a bit harshly. Says one hurting executive: "There's not a lot of sensitivity training or meetings where you sit around and ask how everyone is feeling. No one walks around saying 'I feel your pain.'" Article
