Tools

And on the sixth day, the jury found Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling guilty. This is a profound event, symbolically if nothing else. Enron had become the poster company of the what some see as a troubling era of corporate greed and worse. Fair nor not, this trial in many ways waas seen as the defining moment in the war on malfeasance. The tally: Lay was convicted on six counts. Skilling was convicted on 19 of the 28 counts he was up against. They face significant jail time. There will be lots said about this.
