Krawcheck, would she make a good Bank of America CEO?

I still have my doubts that the board of Bank of America (BAC) will opt for an inside candidate to replace Ken Lewis as CEO. The politics are just too tough. But there's a lot of speculation, especially when it comes to the likes of Brian Moynihan, Gregory Curl and Tom Montag.

Sallie Krawcheck has been seen as an outside candidate, but that didn't stop Charles Gasparino from arguing in Forbes that she would be the wrong choice. "I'm here to tell you Krawcheck is also totally unqualified for the job...." He dings her mainly for her unremarkable stint as CFO at Citi. "Krawcheck didn't just have a difficult time adjusting to the rigors of the position; she was, according to people who covered the firm at the time, a disaster." Gasparino says there are many analysts who share his view. I doubt she'll be seriously considered, but who knows. My bet is still on an outsider.
