We've noted that financial boutiques are hot, hot, hot. The next one to go public just might be Keefe Bruyette & Woods, which specializes in the financial services industry. It joins Evercore as financial services companies ready to follow in the path of Lazard, Thomas Weisel and Greenhill & Co. Overall, the climate is right, as all say the banking industry remains fertile ground for investment banking. The stars seem to have aligned.
