John Gutfreund hit with harassment suit

John Gutfreund, as you may recall, once ran Salmon Bros.' powerful trading desk, He was one of the towering Wall Street powers of his day and was immortalized in the book Liar's Poker. He is now the object of an harassment suit brought by a former assistant of his new firm, C.E. Unterberg Towbin. The suit also names his new employer, chief administrative officer Albert Compitello and portfolio manager Stephen Adler. The suit asks for unspecified damages for pain and suffering.
