Dan Fuss, a bond manager, is working on a winning streak that in many ways just might be as impressive as Bill Miller's 15-year run (which, as we reported yesterday, is in danger of being broken). Over the past 15 years, during which he has managed Loomis Sayles' flagship bond fund, he's returned an average of 11.3 percent a year. That means he's beat the S&P 500 and many equity managers--with bonds! Sounds almost like a free lunch. He doesn't seem to seek the spotlight, however.
