Goldman Sachs takes on blogger
Mike Morgan thinks all those conspiracy theories about Goldman Sachs may well be true. The Jensen Beach, Fla. investment adviser and real estate broker is more than willing to spout about all things Goldman on his blog, goldmansachs666.com.
"People don't realize how much Goldman Sachs has infiltrated the world of politics and finance," he tells the Connecticut Law Tribune. He launched the site in March to provide "a place to pull together all that scattered information."
Goldman Sachs, however, is none too pleased that he uses Goldman's name for his site and has sent a cease and desist order to him, which he's fighting. He has filed a six-page complaint against the bank in U.S. district in Fort Pierce, Fla., claiming that Goldman is trying to silence him. He's accustomed to these battles. In 2006, Morgan set up a website for information about homes built by Lennar. The company then sued him and they settled out of court "when the company threatened further litigation in 14 other states."
