When times are good, everything seems to work together, including PR. According to a FORTUNE piece, Lehman Brothers is a newly harmonious firm built in the image of its CEO, Dick Fuld. He is credited with creating a "booming investment-banking operation that is now competing dead-on with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch for megadeals." This kind of earned media is priceless. While the PR department is no doubt celebrating, they would be wise to remember how fast the articles can turn.
