Law enforcement officials have announced arrest of two Florida residents, Paul Gunter and his daughter Zibiah, for fraud and money laundering in relation to an alleged boiler room scheme that is breathtaking in its reach. The Financial Times notes the probe was aided by officials in London, who are growing concerned with stock schemes that target British citizens from abroad. The scheme somehow used boiler rooms in Spain to hawk a bunch of worthless Nevada companies that were still registered.
