Looks like angry Bank of America shareholders won after all. While their efforts to kick off O. Temple Sloan, Jr. failed, he has decided to step down anyway. Which is a wise move. As the lead independent director, he was under a lot of fire. Sloan, 70, served on the board for 13 years. The big issue now is which directors will follow suit. Article
