Did Madoff have 'baby Ruths?'

Just how sordid will the Bernard Madoff scandal get? From the looks of things, the plot in this soap opera is thickening. We're starting to see some books already, and the revelations (if true) are steamy.

It started with Sheryl Weinstein, who went public with her 20-year affair with the man who eventually bilked her family and her foundation. But now there are other whispers. A new book by Jerry Oppenheimer, "Madoff With the Money," quotes a female employee: "He had affairs in the office. There were two women I know of. They were gorgeous. They were blond. They were young. They were like baby Ruths--the same type as Ruth, with the same hair color and eye color."

As for Madoff's one-time CFO, turned star witness Frank DiPascali, his cooperation may not have kept him out of jail, but it helped him avoid charges for drug use in the 1990s, gun possession and personal tax issues.
