Did disgraced Goldman Sachs analyst flee the country?
Remember David Pajcin, the former Goldman Sachs fixed-income analyst? Along with his partner in crime, he led a massive insider trading ring that spectacularly fell apart in 2005. The global insider trading scheme included a wide cast of characters including his aunt in Croatia, an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch and a New Jersey mail carrier. Financial News Online reports that he might have fled the country in violation of his probation, that followed his 26-month jail sentence. Did he do a weak version of a Samuel Israel? At this point, all indications suggest as much.
