Deceptive practices down, fees up
The good news: The Pew Health Group's Safe Credit Cards Project has found that "unfair" or "deceptive" credit card practices have been eliminated since the passage of the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act. But fees in other areas are rising. Some have boosted fees for cash advances and balance transfers. Article
