Fast Facts: Citizens Bank and Trust of Chillicothe, MO assumed the insured deposits of The Columbian Bank and Trust; as of June 30, 3008, The Columbian Bank and Trust totaled $752 million in assets and $622 million in deposits...approximately $46 million of those deposits were uninsured, held in 610 accounts that exceeded the insurance limits; is the first bank to fail in Kansas since Midland Bank of Kansas in April 1993.
