Citigroup's Vikram Pandit is under a lot of pressure on a lot of fronts. Rather quietly, Pandit has made a major move in in the prime brokerage unit, where he replaced co-heads Ali Hackett and Tom Tesauro with Nick Roe, according to MarketWatch. Previously, Roe reported to the other two. It's unclear what was behind the shakeup at the bog profit driver. Also, Pandit has hired Terri Dial, of Lloyds TSB executive, to replace Steven Freiberg as head of the consumer bank, which had been struggling. At some point, the musical chairs will have to stop.
