Chris Cox earns solid early reviews

A lot of people assumed he would be a corporate toadie and little more, but Chris Cox, the new chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, has confounded critics already. As one guy puts it, Cox as SEC chairman "is a lot closer to Bill Donaldson than he is to Chris Cox the Congressman." He has embraced the law enforcement role with gusto. Obviously, his PR antennae is working here. But he seems to be a decent choice--so far anyway.
