Brian Moynihan to answer some big questions at conference
Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan will be one of the hotly anticipated speakers at Tuesday's financial services conference sponsored by Barclays.
There are a lot of questions about growth and earnings overall, notes TheStreet.com. The biggest issue revolves around the expected loss in revenue from credit card reform and how the banks will make that up.
Recall that Bank of America made headlines a few months ago when it outlined how much it would loss due to financial regulation of credit and debit cards. The numbers were eye-opening. But the bank was criticized because it did not provide any insights into the expected offsets. So that will likely be issue No. 1, when Moynihan addresses analysts and investors.
Analysts seem eager for any information that can buttress their case for the bank, which many have made. Ahead of the event, Bank of America's stock has been rallying.
