Are the dominoes starting to fall in the Bernard Madoff scandal? First his accountant was charged. Now, a second feeder fund is finding itself in the cross-hairs. New York's Andrew Cuomo has accused J. Ezra Merkin "of concealing his links to Madoff and lying to investors about what he was doing with their money, telling most he was personally investing their cash in things like distressed debt," reports the AP.

As he collected $470 million in fees and performance pay, he mislead customers--including a lot of charities--about where their money actually was. Many had no idea until Madoff was arrested. There may be others to face state charges. The big question is whether criminal charges against any co-conspirators are in the offing.
