Andrew Cuomo has picked right up where Eliot Spitzer left off as a huge thorn in the side of Wall Street. Clearly, nothing exercises the New York AG quite like bonuses that he considers unfair. He's not giving up in his probe of Bank of America over the $3.6 billion in controversial bonuses that Merrill Lynch paid just before the deal was to be voted on by shareholders.

Forbes reports that Cuomo declined to sign a confidentiality agreement last week that would have turned over information about who received the bonuses without allowing him to publicize the information. Bank of America also wants confidentiality agreements to be in place for all employees who testify. Cuomo would rather not agree to such protections. It's unclear where this is heading. But the bonus issue has died down a bit, especially regarding AIG. We'll see where this goes.
