Another example from the "some say why, we say why not" department comes from CapitalFusion Alternative Investments, which plans to launch an asset-backed securities fund in the fourth quarter, according to FINalternatives. The upcoming CapFusion Global ABS Opportunity Fund will invest in asset-backed debt and collateralized debt obligations as well as other bonds in the U.S. This is a good idea for those that are confident they can separate the wheat from the chaff. It's a bond pickers game right now. There are some real gems out there. Obviously, most bonds will avoid default.
