William Isaac, Former FDIC Chairman, To Speak at Rodman & Renshaw’s 2010 Annual Global Investment Conference
Rodman Global Investor Conference to be Held September 12 to 15, 2010 in New York

(NASDAQ:RODM), announced today that Mr. William Isaac, former Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and author of the 2010 book Senseless Panic: How Washington Failed America, will be a special guest speaker at the Rodman & Renshaw 2010 Annual Global Investment Conference in New York on September 14, 2010 at the New York Palace Hotel.

Mr. Isaac served at the FDIC (from 1978 through 1985) during the banking and S&L crises and is credited with maintaining confidence in the financial system despite some 3,000 bank and thrift failures, including many of the largest in the country. Currently he is Chairman of consulting firm LECG's Global Financial Services practice and was recently elected non-executive Chairman of Fifth Third Bancorp (NASDAQ:FITB). He is a regular commentator on banking and financial issues for CNBC television and contributes opinion pieces for leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, American Banker and Forbes, among others. Mr. Isaac recently authored the book, Senseless Panic: How Washington Failed America, comparing the handling of the financial crisis of 2008 with the handling of the banking and S&L crises of the 1980s. The book has a Foreword by former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker and endorsements from across the political spectrum from Steve Forbes to Ralph Nader.
