Point B Names Michael Dickstein to Chief Marketing Officer Position
New CMO to Serve as Brand Steward, Client Voice for Award-Winning Firm
SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Point B, an employee-owned management consulting and investment firm, has announced the appointment of Michael Dickstein as Chief Marketing Officer, the firm’s top Marketing and Brand position. Leveraging Point B’s business expertise, track record of success and network of relationships, Dickstein will work with Point B leadership and all associates to drive brand awareness and guide corporate-level brand strategy, substantially contributing to the firm’s history of growth and financial bottom line.

Dickstein’s professional career includes both management consulting and operating roles at leading technology companies. He was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company, working in the Seattle and Atlanta offices and serving clients in the technology and telecommunications sectors in the US, Europe and Asia. Earlier in his career, Dickstein was a member of the senior management team at Internet Security Systems, joining the venture-funded company pre-IPO and helping guide it through four years of rapid and successful growth before it was acquired by IBM. He then spent over four years with Microsoft Corporation, managing acquisitions and partnerships and ultimately served as General Manager of Microsoft’s US Business Applications group. Dickstein joins Point B from Quantum Corporation, an IT storage technology company, where he served as SVP Marketing and Alliances. He has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
