Perella Weinberg Partners Names Jeffrey Silverman as Partner

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Perella Weinberg Partners announced today that Jeffrey Silverman has been named a Partner of the Firm, effective immediately. Mr. Silverman will join the senior management team of the Firm’s Asset Management business and will be based in New York.

Mr. Silverman has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joins Perella Weinberg Partners from Tudor Investment Corp., where he was most recently a Partner and Director of Investments.

Biography of Jeffrey Silverman

Jeffrey Silverman was most recently a Partner and Director of Investments at Tudor Investment Corp. where he was responsible for recruiting new portfolio manager groups and strategic external investments. While at Tudor, Mr. Silverman successfully enlisted 40 new investment teams and developed numerous external investment relationships throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Asia, and Australia. From 1996 to 2002, he held several positions at Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as a Vice President in the Prime Brokerage Group where he was a senior member of the Arbitrage and Leverage Marketing Team. Mr. Silverman also spent four years in Goldman Sachs’s Fixed Income Division where he managed its Global Futures Sales Desk covering institutional clients trading listed futures with a specific focus on the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, from 1993 to 1996, Mr. Silverman traded agricultural commodities at Morgan Stanley. From 1990 to 1993, he was an options volatility arbitrage floor trader in London as a member of the IPE and LCE Exchanges. Mr. Silverman received a Bachelor of Accountancy from The George Washington University.
