Lehman Brothers wins the All-America Research Team, Institutional Investor's annual ranking of the best sell-side equity analysts, for a fifth consecutive year.
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 18, 2007 -- Lehman Brothers wins the All-America Research Team, Institutional Investor's annual ranking of the best sell-side equity analysts, for a fifth consecutive year.
The firm also wins top honors in Energy and ties for first with Merrill Lynch in Financial Institutions, the final category results to be released. Lehman's margin of victory in the overall survey is narrower than it has been in years, thanks to strong showings by both Bear, Stearns & Co. and JPMorgan Securities.
The firm wins 44 total team positions (first, second, third and runner-up) in the survey, down from 50 last year. Bear Stearns, leaping to second place from fourth, wins 38 total team positions, up from 31. JPMorgan makes the biggest advance, vaulting to fourth place from seventh, with 33 team positions, up from 24:
