Leerink Swann Hires Franklin M. Stokes to Help Drive Growth of Tools and Diagnostics Franchise in Investment Banking
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Healthcare investment bank Leerink Swann announced that Franklin M. Stokes has joined the firm’s Investment Banking group as Managing Director. He will be located in Leerink Swann’s San Francisco office and will report directly to Jim Boylan, Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking.
Mr. Stokes brings 16 years of healthcare investment banking experience to Leerink Swann with a number of established relationships in the Tools and Diagnostics and Specialty Pharmaceutical sectors. Frank's primary focus will be to work with the team to establish Leerink Swann as a leader in Life Science Tools and Diagnostics Investment Banking.

Frank joins Leerink Swann from Robert W. Baird, & Co where he was the Head of Life Sciences Investment Banking. Previously, Frank spent 12 years at Wachovia Securities specializing in Specialty and Generic Pharmaceuticals. During his career, Frank has led clients in a variety of transactions including public and private equity financings, buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, hostile takeover defenses and leveraged finance activities.
