Jefferies Further Expands Leveraged Finance Group

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In a further expansion of the firm’s Global Leveraged Finance Group, Jefferies announced today the addition of John B. McCann as a Managing Director in Leveraged Finance Origination.

Mr. McCann brings to Jefferies more than 14 years of leveraged finance experience. He joins the firm from HSBC, where for two years he was a Managing Director in the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Group responsible for Financial Sponsors coverage. Prior to HSBC, Mr. McCann spent eight years in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, most recently as a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group focused on Financial Sponsor coverage. He received his MBA from the University of Virginia and his BA from Williams College.
