SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GCC Servicing Systems, a provider of mortgage servicing technology and solutions, announced that the company’s founder, Glenn Liebowitz, has been named a finalist for the Lasting Impact Award by Mortgage Technology Magazine.

Each year, Mortgage Technology recognizes finalists in 11 categories highlighting accomplishments in the mortgage industry. The Lasting Impact Award acknowledges an individual, group or company responsible for a technology initiative or development proven to have an enduring influence that has transformed mortgage finance.

Liebowitz founded GCC Servicing Systems as Glenn Computer Corporation in 1977. The company began as a mortgage service bureau and in the 1980s launched one of the industry’s first computerized loan origination systems. The LOS portion of the business was subsequently spun off to become the company known today as Mortgage Builder. With 35 years in the industry, Liebowitz continues to lead GCC Servicing Systems as it provides banks, credit unions and servicers of all sizes with a fully hosted servicing platform that automates all areas of the servicing process.

“It is truly an honor to be included among the prestigious companies and individuals recognized by the Mortgage Technology awards,” said Liebowitz, president of GCC. “Although it was my name on the list, I owe my success to the innovative individuals with which I have worked throughout my career.”

The Mortgage Technology Award winners will be announced at a ceremony on Oct. 9 in Chicago.
