BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Catalyst Financial, a Boca Raton, Florida-based investment banking firm serving middle market companies, announced today the addition of Ravi Ugale to their Investment Banking team.

Ravi Ugale has 24 years of total operations and investment experience bringing a well-defined ability to successfully source, build and exit investments. Prior to joining Catalyst Financial, Mr. Ugale was a Managing Director with Crossbow Ventures for ten years where he focused his investment activities in the information technology and health care sectors. Ravi has extensive experience working with the management of small to mid-sized businesses. His wide-ranging experience has given him a practical, insider’s understanding of many industries, including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, wireless, security, banking, telecommunications, information technology, medical devices, health care, government and internet.

Prior to Crossbow Ventures, Ravi had a successful career spanning 14 years in the information technology industry where he gained strong operational, management, financial and entrepreneurial skills building new and existing business units of corporations into large profit centers including building a new business unit at Siemens/ Océ from start up to $25 million in four years. Mr. Ugale earned an MBA in International Business and Finance from Florida Atlantic University, a MS in Computer Science from Marquette University and a BS in Engineering from Pune University.
