NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bruderman Brothers, Inc. is pleased to announce the recapitalization of Professional Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, PC ("ProPT"). Bruderman Brothers, as exclusive investment banker, structured, arranged, and negotiated the recapitalization, led by Great Point Partners, LLC (“GPP”), a Greenwich, CT–based private equity fund. MidCap Financial, LLC and NXT Capital, Inc. provided debt financing for the transaction. ProPT provides physical therapy and athletic training services at facilities located throughout the New York City metropolitan area.

ProPT operates eleven outpatient physical therapy centers and one athletic training facility, all located in the New York City metropolitan area. The Company’s outpatient physical therapy centers provide treatment to patients suffering from musculoskeletal impairments associated with accidents, sports injuries, surgeries, and various other medical conditions. ProPT’s rehabilitation programs and services help patients minimize physical and cognitive impairments and maximize functional ability so that they may return to competition, the workplace, and/or their normal lifestyle.
