SPOTLIGHT: Blackstone Group Boosts Bid

The Blackstone Group boosted its bid for Equity Office by about 2 percent, from $54 to $55.50 a share. The board has accepted it and will recommend it to shareholders, which could vote today. Not sure how the Vornado group will react. Another bid may be in the works. Article
